If we want a more relaxed time with young toddlers, how many days should we allow at each park?

    Hi Nellie!

Visiting the Walt Disney World parks with toddlers can prove to be both thrilling and tiresome at the same time. But rest assured, as we have all been there and have loved the highs and the lows of Disney with kids.

When visiting with toddlers, my first recommendation is to have a plan! Can't stress this enough. Know what attractions your kids (and you) will want to experience, and list them in order of priority. Research which attractions are most popular (such as Dumbo, or Peter Pan's Flight) and make sure you flag those as high on your list. It is best to look at theme parks as partial day excursions. With toddler's, they require rest breaks, feeding and napping schedules and it would be best if you went to the parks in the morning, and returned to your resort midday, to take a much needed nap. You can return to the parks in the evening, if your toddler has the energy to explore.

Based on this, I would suggest four days, on per park, allowing you time time experience all the parks have to offer as well as enjoy some relaxation time as well.

Hope this help you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
