    A regular ticket holder for the magic kingdom during a Christmas party who has also purchased a Christmas party ticket do they need to leave and reenter the party to get the party ID?

    Welcome to planDisney, Beverly! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the Holidays is always so much fun! Thanks for sending us your planning question. 

    Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Magic Kingdom Park. Guests with general admission tickets will have to leave the park by the time the party begins. But you won't exactly have to leave the park. Just head to the park entrance (as early as 4 p.m.) and let a Cast Member know you will also be attending the party. They will ask you to tap your MagicBand to their tablet and they will give you a wrist band for the party. That's it! 

    This event is one of my favorites! Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade is so nice! I love seeing Mickey and his friends dressed in their Holiday best and you get to see Santa Claus! You can enjoy it during the party at 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
