If you have the regular dining plan, can you use the table service meals as a quick service meal.

    Hi Teresa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for your question!  My family absolutely loves the Disney Dining Plan and we use it almost every time we visit Walt Disney World.

It's been my own experience that you can use Table-Service entitlements at Quick-Service locations, but not the other way around.  In other words, you cannot combine Quick-Service entitlements to use toward Table-Service meals.  While it doesn't make the most financial sense (since Table-Service entitlements are worth more than those for Quick-Service), it's a nice option if you don't have a dining reservation that day or you'd rather not be tied to a specific meal time or location.

I always recommend making dining reservations for Table-Service spots as close to the 180 day mark as possible, which gives you the best chance at getting exactly the restaurants and times that are best for you.  I know I always look forward to relaxing and enjoying a delicious meal with my family after a big day at the parks, and there really are some fantastic options available.  A few of my family's favorites are 'Ohana, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, Boma and Chef Mickey's.

Happy dining and have a magical vacation, Teresa!  Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions as you make your plans.
