Have regular dining plan.. ordering our lunch for QS credit at BOG. Does my child get dessert? A cookie was one of the side options so wasn't sure... When I pick one of the kids meals it asks for the beverage choice under the kid's meal so I was

Hi, Sarah! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Dining inside the enchanted Beast's castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant is our daughters' favorite way to take a break while at Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many delicious entrees to choose from, both on the Adult and Kids' menus.

While many Quick-Service dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort have children order an entree with one side, a beverage and a dessert, Be Our Guest Restaurant has built their Kids' Menu in a distinctly different way. As you complete your lunch preorder, the system will cue you to choose two side items, instead of just one side, and a beverage for the Kids' Menu item. One of the side items could be a more dessert-like option, such as the peach applesauce or cookie.

There is a wide range of drink options for kids. They are welcome to choose from low-fat milk, chocolate milk, apple juice, small bottled water, or a cold fountain beverage. There are optional drinks for children, such as the souvenir castle goblet and light-up fairy or pirate cups, that can be paid for separately from the dining plan purchase. Once you complete the choices for the Kids' Meal, the system will not have you add on a separate drink and dessert, as it is included as part of their meal.

I can totally understand if your little ones would much rather have a Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake with their meal. No need to ask the dishes; I can tell you they are so delicious! Just go ahead and add a cupcake to your order, and you can pay for it separately from your Disney Dining Plan Quick-Service credits upon your arrival at the restaurant, or you can even use a dining plan snack credit to pay for it.

I hope this helps you as you continue to plan your vacation. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Have a magical day!
