Was a regular admission park ticket once required in addition to the Halloween party ticket? In earlier days, I thought you had to also have a regular admission ticket to be eligible to buy the Halloween party tickets. Thanks for your answering this.

Hi Jeffrey! I’m so glad you stopped by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m happy to clear up any confusion you might have about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

I have good news! You do not have to (and have never had to) purchase a regular theme park ticket in order to attend the spook-tacular Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. In fact, you can enter the Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. with your party ticket, even though the actual party does not begin until 7:00 p.m.! I think it’s such a great value for families wanting to join Mickey and his pals as they dress up in their Halloween best, and trick-or-treat all over the park!

This year’s party boasts a brand-new firework show, Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular. Jack Skellington from Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, is a great host! I really enjoyed seeing Disney’s most infamous villains take in their time in the spotlight. It is such a fun show!

Jeffrey, I hope this information clears up any doubts you might have had about the party. Now the only question is, when will you be visiting the most magical place on earth?

Thanks again for visiting us with your question. Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. Helping you with the details of your next magical vacation is our pleasure!
