How do I register more than one person for RunDisney race?

Hi Lynne, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you might be preparing to register tomorrow for next year’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. It’s my favorite runDisney event, with four races and two challenges bringing so much energy to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

The only thing better than participating in a runDisney race is doing it with a friend! So let’s chat about the best way to get your whole crew registered.

Tomorrow you’ll see “Register Now” buttons appear on the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend page. Once you click that button, you’ll be directed to a page where you can select the event and fill out the required information (name, date of birth, address, etc.). Towards the bottom, you’ll see an “I want to add another registration” button. Once you click that, you’ll be prompted to choose the event for your second person and fill out their information. At that point, you can add another registration or click the “I’m Ready to Pay” button to check out.

runDisney events are extremely popular, and bibs go quickly! I’d recommend being ready on the runDisney website a few minutes before registration opens. The “Register Now” buttons often appear as early as 10-15 minutes before registration begins. You can click in early, and it’ll automatically assign you a queue number when the process starts. If you’re registering a second person, make sure you have all of their information ahead of time so you can fill out the fields as quickly as possible. This includes their full name, gender, shirt size, date of birth, email address, mailing address, mobile number, and emergency contact.

As you start prepping for the races, don’t forget that there are training plans for both newer and experienced runners on the runDisney website. You’ll find custom plans for the different distances, as well as the challenges like Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge and the Dopey Challenge. I found them incredibly helpful when I was prepping to run my first marathon at Disney World!

Good luck with registration tomorrow, and remember, Every Mile is Magic! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to run back to planDisney!
