I want to register myself and my son for the wine and dine 5k in November. I know these sell out quickly and I want to know beforehand what all I need to do and where to do it to increase my chances of getting tickets.

    Hi Tiffany!

Thank you for jogging by planDisney with your question about the runDisney Wine & Dine 5K! As you probably know, the registration opened up earlier this week for the races, but GOOD NEWS! As of today, you can still register you and your son for the 5K! Simply visit the runDisney website and click on events, and then Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. There, you will see the list of races and their availability.

A runDisney 5K is SO much fun! First of all, in the past, the course has been through Epcot, so you get to see a different view of the park. Also, there are Disney Characters to see! Since these races are villains-themed, expect to see Malificent, the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and maybe even a few obscure villains like Ycma or Hades. The 5K is also a fun run, which means there isn’t a time limit, so you can take it all in and enjoy your stroll through Walt Disney World.

I started participating in runDisney races in 2015, my first being the Princess Half Marathon & Castaway Challenge. Over the past 6 years, I have done 3 more Princess Halfs, the Inaugural Wine & Dine 10K, plus a handful of 5K races on land and at sea. To say I am addicted to the bling is an understatement!

I know you will have a magical time running with your son! Please come back to visit us at planDisney with more questions that you might have.

    Happy Running,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
