Ahoy, Barbara!
I'm thrilled to hEAR you'll be casting off on a Disney Cruise Line adventure with your grandchildren. A sailing with Captain Mickey is really the perfect multigenerational vacation because there is something for every age. If you want to spend time together, you can head to the D Lounge for a family game show or maybe grab an ice cream on the pool deck while you watch a movie on the Funnel Vision. The options are endless, and I promise the memories you make will be priceless.
When your little sailors want to experience what I think is the best
youth spaces on the high seas, they will head to the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab for interactive fun and imaginative programming in these incredibly themed areas. You can register them before you set sail when you complete your Online Check-in. If this is your first sailing, this will open up 75 days prior to your
departure. This can be found after signing in to your reservation by looking for "Online Check-in" on the right hand side of the information. As you go through the step-by-step process, you'll see a tab labeled "Youth Activity Registration." There will be some information for you to input about each of your grandchildren including if they have any food allergies. Once this is completed, they are all set! You will need to check-in with the youth counselors either in the terminal or once aboard at the club or lab to pick up their Oceaneer Bands. (If the line is long in the cruise terminal, feel free to drop by during Open House hours on embarkation day.) The band will be securely attached to their wrist for the duration of the cruise and will be used to check in and out of the facilities and store all the information you completed during the Online Check-in process.
Barbara, I hope my answer is helpful. Please write back if you have any further questions.
