In regards to transportation; we are staying at the GF villas would it be faster to take a bus from there to the Animal Kingdom or should we take the monorail to the transportation center and hop a bus from there to the park? Same for Hollywood Studios.

    Hi Anneliese!

You are going to love staying at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The location is great, and the rooms are just beautiful. I love the little details that pay homage to Disney classic films such as Mary Poppins and Dumbo!

I recently stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and I would recommend using the busses directly from the resort. The actual ride time from the resort or from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the theme parks should be about the same, and busses should run with similar frequently at both locations. Because of this, I think taking the Monorail around the resort loop to get to the Ticket and Transportation Center would simply add an extra step, and therefore extra time to your journey.

I hope you have a wonderful trip to The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This is a great time of year to visit and enjoy the parks with generally lower crowds.

    Have a magical vacation!
