With regards to the military Disney Salute's tickets. Are they counted against my limit of 6 at point of purchase or when activating? If I buy tickets for other service members at the ticket office, can they activate it against their ID at the park?

Hi Nathan, welcome to planDisney! From one military family to another, we thank you for your service!

    Walt Disney World Resort
is very generous to the military community with their discounts, ranging from theme park tickets to discounts at select Disney Resort Hotels, and Memory Maker-A Disney PhotoPass product. My family and I take advantage of these discounts every vacation we take, in particular, the Disney Armed Forces Salute! You cannot beat the value of these passes, especially when you purchase them with the Water Parks option! As a service member, you are entitled to purchase six passes a year. Once you purchase them at your Leisure and Travel or ITT office on base, they go against your six that you are entitled. Since your friends are also active duty, I suggest they get passes using their own I.D.'s, especially if you are traveling with a larger group.

When you activate your tickets at Walt Disney World, don't forget to purchase Memory Maker! You'll have all photos that you take throughout your visit, including photos taken on rides and attractions. Have a magical visit to Walt Disney World!
