Hiya, Kelly, and welcome to planDisney where we say the more the merrier! It sounds like you're heading to
Walt Disney World Resort soon with a large group, so let's look at how your
Theme Park Tickets and
Reservations will work.
I chatted with a Cast Member named Gail Beth, who suggested you first check with the person who coordinated the group ticket purchase. For example, if a school booked the tickets, the stipulations might differ from if a guest booked a group of tickets on the website.
I also spoke to a helpful Cast Member in group sales named Toni, and she said if an individual made the purchase, that person could assign each ticket to an individual guest. At that point, guests can make their own Theme Park Reservations to any park they choose without affecting other reservations.
But if an organization booked the tickets, you would check with the event coordinator for the policy on Theme Park Reservation bookings. In that case, the tickets might be linked so that all reservations would have to stay the same.
If you have additional questions about group ticket sales, please call (407) 939-1020.
Your group will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I was there with about 25 friends recently, and we had a blast roaming around the
Global Marketplaces, sampling foods from different cultures. We also enjoyed meeting up for a ride on
Soarin' Over California, which is offered for a limited time. I can still smell those orange groves!
Kelly, I hope I've given you some guidance on how your group tickets might work, but feel free to come back by
planDisney anytime. It's a "group" effort!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
