Lightning Lane Premier Pass a couple of months ago, so I’m happy to help you out!
When your Lightning Lane booking window opens, you’ll purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass by using your
My Disney Experience app. Once purchased, the pass will be linked to your accounts, so you’ll be able to use a Key to the World Card,
MagicBand, or the
MagicMobile service on your phone to enter the Lightning Lanes throughout the day.
With Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you’ll be able to enter each available Lightning Lane in one park one time each. You can go in whatever order you’d like, and when you’re ready for the attraction, you’ll just walk up to the Lightning Lane and scan in. Easy as that! As you scan into Lightning Lanes during your park day, your My Disney Experience app will keep track of it all for you. That way, you’ll know which attractions you’ve already experienced and which ones you have left.
Now, let’s get into whether or not it’s worth it! While Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the most expensive Lightning Lane service, I have to admit…it was SO nice to be able to scan into a Lightning Lane without having to worry about booking anything. I loved walking around the park and just enjoying the attractions in order, instead of zig-zagging around. Plus, with how much time I saved, I was able to enjoy more of what the park had to offer that I might usually rush by. It was the most laid-back park day I’ve had in a long time!
While my budget won’t always allow me to use Lightning Lane Premier Pass, I don’t regret the splurge during my recent trip for a second. I’m hoping to use it again in the future with my family! Of course, when my budget is a little tighter, Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass work great for my family, too. It just takes a little more planning throughout the day.
