Regarding the Epcot Food & Wine Festivall, I was wondering if the 'tapas-sized portions of regional specialties' from the various marketplaces is included in the admission or is it an extra. If it's extra please could you let me know approx. prices. Th

    Hi Karen,

While many of the Food & Wine Festival exhibits and lectures are included with the price of your park admission, food is generally an extra charge.

During the Festival, there will be about 30 food stands located around the perimeter of the World Showcase. These will sell tapas-size or tasting-size portions of the foods from each of the represented countries or regions. Some of the dishes are sweet, some are savory, and most booths will also sell a representative beer or wine as well. The food prices vary depending on the dish, but most cost between about 3-7 dollars each. I find that if I'm eating on my own, usually 5 or 6 of the tasting dishes work out to be a good meal. That's why I like to go with friends - we can split orders and get 12-15 different dishes to taste.

There is VERY complete coverage of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival over on the independent website DisneyFoodBlog.com. They have lists of all the food booth menu items, and photos and pricing for all the dishes last year. If you're interested in the Festival, it's well worth a trip over there to see what all your dining options will be.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
