What refurbishments are going to be going on in February 2024?

It's great to see you here today at planDisney, Emily! February is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm glad to hear that you have plans for a magical vacation. It's my favorite time of year for weather, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be in full swing! Since you're deep in planning mode, let's chat about what refurbishments are happening during your visit and how you can keep updated on that for yourself.

Emily, at this time, the only refurbishment we know of during your vacation will be Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which is closing on January 9 for a refresh. We don't know exactly when it will open again, but it is scheduled to be closed during your trip in February. Beyond that, we don't know of any other refurbishments on the schedule, but that is subject to change at any time. If you want to keep up-to-date on which attractions will be closed during your vacation, you can check it out for yourself on the 5-Day View calendar. If you scroll down past the hours for each Theme Park, you can click on "View What's Closed for Refurbishment." This link will only appear if an attraction is closed at a given Theme Park, so you may not see it for each one.

I hope this answers your question, Emily, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!

In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
