I heard that there’s a spot in galaxy’s edge where you can leave behind a scrap of fabric near the old starcruiser boarding area. Is this still being done?

    Hiya Kayla! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited that you are only days away from your Walt Disney World trip! A visit during the holiday season is one of the most magical times of the year to go! You are going to have a wonderful stay!

It seems like a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is in high order. This land is incredibly immersive and truly a unique experience. Between the sights, sounds, and smells, it truly hits on all the senses. Interestingly enough, I have heard this same rumor that Guests were leaving behind ribbons near the boarding area to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to honor their experience. However, it seems like this area has now been blocked off to Guests and you are unable to leave behind any piece of fabric. You can still make your way back to that area of the park, but you will be unable to navigate directly to the boarding area.

There are still plenty of fun and amazing experiences to check out on the Planet of Batuu during your visit. While I have a good feeling that you have experienced both Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, these attractions are entertaining every time you ride. There are additional experiences, such as building a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop, constructing a droid at Droid Depot, and having a beverage at Oga's Cantina. You can truly spend an entire day in this part of the park alone.

Kayla, I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebrating at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
