Hi Susan,
Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney! I'm happy to help you get information on
tickets and refunds. While we all are aware of how this pandemic has changed many of our vacation and travel desires, it is definitely a sad moment when trips are canceled. We've had to cancel three of our own trips due to concerns, and Walt Disney World has been extremely helpful in assisting us to reschedule a future magical stay.
Susan, if you booked directly with Disney, you have some options for your unused tickets. For regular, one park per day tickets, you may request that the entire amount paid on your ticket be transferred to a ticket for a future date. For multi-day park hopper tickets, you may request an extension, which allows the tickets to be valid until September 2021, or, if you booked a package including room, you can call Disney Reservation Center and have it modified to a future date. If you are looking solely for a refund, you may call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 566-4985, in order to discuss your refund options. If you booked using a travel agent, you will need to contact them in order to see what your options may be. Bear in mind that most of these options are for guests with date-specific tickets during the time when the parks and resorts were closed. More information about tickets, and the parks phased reopening, and the safety and health measures being followed can be found on the
Know Before You Go page of the
Walt Disney World website. I do hope you will be able to reschedule your visit soon, as magical moments and special experiences can still be had when visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
