Disneyland Main Street; at night; empty; lights on

Is there a reduced day rate if you arrive after 12 noon?

Hi there, Dorraine! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. We love helping fellow Guests plan their visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, so you've come to the right place.

You are arriving in just a few days, so let's get right to it. Ticket pricing is dynamic by day but, unfortunately, does not vary depending on what time you enter the parks. Essentially, when you are looking at the calendar, you may see that certain days cost more or less than others, but there is no option for a reduced ticket for arriving later in the day. I know that was not what you hoped to hear, but I hope it's helpful as you plan your upcoming visit.

I'm not sure if you have any young Mouseketeers (ages 3 -9) in your group, but there is currently a Kids' Special Ticket Offer through March 20, 2025. There is a lot of flexibility with this offer in terms of upgrading to a Park Hopper and adding multiple days, but the base ticket can be as low as $50 USD for a 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket. Every time I talk about this promotion, I want to pack up my family and head straight to Disneyland!

The good news is that it looks like both parks are open quite late on your park day, so even a noon arrival will leave plenty of time for magic. I took a look at the Park Hours & Entertainment schedule for Sunday, February 23rd, and Disneyland is open until midnight, with California Adventure closing at 10:00 PM. If you plan to stay until park closing, you'll definitely want to make time for a nighttime spectacular to cap off your Disney day. My personal favorite is Fantasmic! over at Disneyland. You'll be swept up and immersed in music and storytelling and taken on a new journey with the characters and songs you already know and love. There are two shows planned for Sunday at 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM. While the second show may be a bit less crowded, the viewing area around Rivers of America is standing-room only and can get quite busy no matter what. I recommend heading over 30-45 minutes ahead of time to secure a spot. If you have questions when you arrive, there are usually plenty of Cast Members available to direct Guests to available spots.

Dorraine, I hope we've set you up for a successful day in the parks! It looks like you've just dropped another question for us - we love returning visitors to our little corner of the magic here at planDisney! I'll be helping you out with that one shortly as well.

    See ya real soon!
