I am redecorating my house and need to make a decision ~ we are leaving for DW in 30 days and will be getting our silhouettes done. Does anyone have an approximate finish size, like a 5x7, 8x10? Three of us (DH, DD6 and myself). THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    Hi Mindy,

I'm sorry to be vague, but the answer to your question is "it depends."

I have had silhouettes made of my family several times. The actual cut-out image is small; about 3" x 5". The sizing comes into play when you decide how to frame your images. There are a number of frames sold right there at the silhouette stands, or you are welcome to purchase your own elsewhere. I chose to frame the silhouettes of each of my three children separately in the oval frames sold at the stand. These are about 8" tall. You could also choose to frame the portraits of all of your family members in one frame -- of any size you like. You could easily get the silhouettes of all three of you together in one 8" x 10" frame.

If at all possible with you planning, I would try to hold off until to can see what your options are in person.

    Good luck!
