Hello there, Jessica. Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you coming by with your question.
Oh, bother. I'm sorry to hear that you need to recover some pictures that were taken on a trip to the Disneyland Resort last year. I hope that you had a wonderful time during your visit and made some core memories, though. The Holiday Season is a fantastic time to visit and the Disney Imagineers pull out all the stops when it comes to decorating the entire Resort in its best Holiday finery!
I'm afraid I have some bad news. According to the
Expiration Policy, Disney PhotoPass photos will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken. That means that it is unlikely that they will be able to be recovered. You could always try filling out the
Lost Disney PhotoPass form or calling
PhotoPass Guest Support and maybe a Cast Member can work some magic, but there is no guarantee. Unless you are a Magic Key holder (PhotoPass photos are held for 365 days for them), I'm not sure that your photos can be found.
The next time you visit the Disneyland Resort, you can purchase an
Expiration Extension that keeps your photos up to 60 days instead, which gives you more flexibility. And as part of the Disney100 Celebration, all attraction photos are
free to download this year.
I know that's not the news you were hoping to hear, Jessica. I know how important photos are for preserving precious memories. If there is anything else we can help with, please do not hesitate to come by and see us again.
We'll see ya real soon!
