    is there a recommended luggage packing list

    Packing lists will obviously differ greatly depending on the demographics of the traveling party; the suitcase contents of a solo conventioneer will obviously look different than those of a family of six with babies and toddlers in tow. Packing will also vary depending on the season, the length of stay, which resort you're staying at, and countless other factors. It can be overwhelming.

    There are some resources you can use to guide you. Go to the website mousesavers.com and find the "search" box (it's on the left, you have to scroll down a bit to get there). Search for "Ultimate Packing List." This will bring you to a page that offers suggestions for packing your luggage as well as suggestions for what to bring into the parks each day. These lists are very comprehensive. No one would possibly want to bring everything on the lists, but they will help you jog your memory for things you may have forgotten.

    Another good source of packing list is the Passporter guide to Disney World. This book is available in most large bookstores and also on Amazon.com. In addition to having great packing ideas, I find this source to have some of the most readable WDW maps.

    Also, try not to stress too much forgetting something. WDW is obviously a very popular travel destination. They know that travelers often forget things, so the resort shops are very well stocked. They have all the basics like toothbrushes, Tylenol, sunscreen, and shaving cream. They also have socks and underwear, sneakers, swimsuits, books and magazines, batteries, and just about anything else you may have forgotten. If you're going to need it at WDW, chances are it's already there.
