Hi Jeyleen!
It is a great idea to focus on ease of transportation when you have little ones in tow. Getting back to your room after a long day can be a chore, especially if they have already started taking their naps. Also, when my kids were in that odd range where the 5 year old needed a midday pool break, but the younger one needed a nap, getting back to my Disney resort quickly meant that Mom, Dad, and the kids were all much better rested and relaxed for the rest of the day. Let me suggest a few resorts, based on having little kids, and write me back if you want more suggestions!
If a Deluxe resort is an option, I would recommend one of the
Monorail resorts, like
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. With kids your age, the
Magic Kingdom Park is likely your primary destination, and this simplifies so much. Getting on and off the monorail greatly simplifies dealing with strollers, and the ability to get back to your hotel quickly for pool or nap times is a huge benefit. Plus, at the Polynesian you can get faster access to the Monorail that goes to
EPCOT by simply walking over to the Ticket and Transportation Center.
If you are considering Moderate or Value resorts, I would recommend
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and
Disney's Pop Century Resort, respectively. These put you on the
Disney Skyliner, just minutes away from EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The onboarding for the Skyliner is so easy with a stroller, and the ride itself, as with the Monorail, is an attraction unto itself! There is also
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, if you want to consider a family suite. For all of these you get bus service to the Magic Kingdom Park, and to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The buses provide a comfortable, air conditioned shuttle to your next adventure. Many of the buses now also have USB charging ports, so you can get your phone battery levels back up for all those pictures you are sure to take!
Start with these on your radar, and you are sure to hit the mark for a perfect vacation!
Have a magical vacation!
