do you recommend taking a stroller for a 4 year old?

Hi, Kasey!  I think this depends a lot on your four year old.  At four, none of my girls would sit still in a stroller, no matter how much I wanted them to.  They were so anxious to be doing things, the stroller always seemed like it was holding them back.  I made sure to try and leave the parks a bit earlier, anticipating little kid burn out, but many days, they were ready to out pace me!

The days at Walt Disney World can be long and hot, so if you're little one will use the stroller, it might be a good idea to have one.  If you don't plan any downtime at the resorts, you might be able to coax a nap out of an exhausted preschooler, or use a stroller to sit and wait for the parades.

If you have a super active kid, though, you may find that they prefer not to use the stroller and just go on their own.  But having a stroller is a great back up plan.
