Would you recommend taking kids, ages 4 & 5, to Planet Hollywood or House of Blues? I have heard that the food at Planet Hollywood is not very good. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Holly!

When I visited Walt Disney World in December, I ate at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney and the food was incredible. The atmosphere is suitable for kids and adults, especially on Sunday during the gospel all-you-can-eat Southern buffet. You can enjoy wonderful music while enjoying a delicious spread of Southern favorites.

When I was there I had the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, which was out of this world!  I also sampled the pulled pork sliders and meatball sliders and was so impressed with the wonderful flavor. Their food is really fresh and delicious. You can review the menu for the full listing of options. The House of Blues is also now on the Disney Dining Plan, which is great news!

In full disclosure, I wasn't that impressed with the food at Planet Hollywood. Some people rave about it, so I don't want to speak for everyone, but personally, I didn't care for the food. The atmosphere is fun and the kids would enjoy that aspect. However, I think that the House of Blues is a better overall option, because their food is delicious and they have a fun, family atmosphere.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

    Magically,
    Stacy
