Hiya Carol,
Thanks for asking this question to planDisney! With all the wonderful entertainment options, attractions and of course delicious food at the four
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, some Guests forget there are two really awesome water parks they can also enjoy.
While
theme park reservations are required in order for you to visit
Magic Kingdom,
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
EPCOT and
Disney's Animal Kingdom, reservations are not required for entry to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon nor
Disney's Blizzard Beach. While this is always subject to change, I love having the flexibility to visit a waterpark visit at the last minute. This allows us to not only keep an eye on the weather but also switch our schedules around if we need a long float down a lazy river to help recharge our batteries. As a reminder, a
standard theme park admission ticket does not include entry into the water parks, so you will need to either add the Water Park and Sports Option or purchase a one day entry ticket when you arrive at the waterpark itself.
One last reminder - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is temporarily closed but Disney's Blizzard Beach is open and ready for some fun in the sun. If I can assist with any additional planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
