    Do you recommend park hopper passes and meal plans for first time visitors(family of 4), as opposed to having neither? I have heard different opinions. Don't know where to start. Thank you.

    Shane,

    There are reasons for and against both. Without knowing more about your group, I will give you these general guidelines;

    Park Hopper
    • If you have younger kids, probably no. It is unlikely that you will make it to more than one park in a day, so why spend the money.
    • If you have older kids, I think it is a good expense. You will have the flexibility to change parks during the day, regardless of what park you might have visited earlier in the day.
    Dining Plans
    • I have never known the dining plans not to be a good deal. They are great way to pre-pay for some of your dining, and you save a good amount on them.
    • The bigger question is which plan. The Quick Service Plan, Standard Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Dining Plan all hit different pocketbooks, and different eating styles. To learn more about each of these, check out the PDFs of the different plans.

    I am glad to answer other questions. Just write me from my bio page.

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
