Do you recommend to have lunch at Goofy’s kitchen if we are going to be just one day in disneyland park? or do you think is a better idea to look something inside the park?

Hi there Aranza, welcome to planDisney!

My family absolutely loves Goofy's Kitchen, and we usually dine there each trip.  You cannot beat the energetic atmosphere, and the buffet really does have something for everyone!

I would recommend making a stop there if meeting Goofy or character dining in general is a priority for your family.  I did want to note that it is located at the Disneyland Hotel, so you will have to walk which can take 10-15 minutes.  You could also take the Disneyland Monorail from the Tomorrowland station in Disneyland Park to the Downtown Disney Station, but that also will take a bit of time as trains run approximately every 10 minutes.  If you have a little one who meeting Goofy would make their trip, then I'd definitely make a dining reservation if you can!

If you are just looking to experience a character dining meal, I do recommend one that is closer to the parks to save you precious time if you only will be visiting for one day.  You could head over to the Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park for Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park for a fun start to your day!  Or another option for a character breakfast or brunch is Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.  My kids always loved this character dining experience since they got to meet the main mouse, Mickey!

A final suggestion I have for you is to consider Goofy's Kitchen for the character dining during dinner.  That way you could still enjoy a full day in the parks, and then end your day with the character dining experience.  It's so great to have an option for dinner for a special experience like this!  I do recommend making any dining reservations as soon as you can for your trip, you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance.

I hope this information helps you make your decision, Aranza!  We're here to help, so don't hesitate to bring any other questions to us as you plan your trip.

    Have a magical day!
