Hi there! We have recently been to WDW and my kids are just dying to go again. We were looking at the pop century- but many friends have told me it is similar to a motel. We don't have any real budget constraints- but I saw that it was new. Help?

Hi Sarah! The best way to get over the sadness of the end of your Disney vacation is to begin planning your next one! Pop Century resort opened on December 14, 2003, almost exactly six years ago! The only comparison of any of the Disney resorts to a motel could be the fact that the value and moderate resorts both have exterior hallways. The theming at Pop Century is incredible, with larger than life pop icons everywhere.

If you're considering Pop Century solely on the basis that it is one of the newer resorts, it is important to know that resorts are continually refurbished, including most recently the All Star Music resort (value) and the moderate resorts Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach Resort.
