We recently stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. I have a very bad back and woke up each morning with zero back pain. What type of beds are in the rooms at this resort?

    Hi Judith!

I don't know if it is the happy exhaustion from all of the magical moments in the parks or the comfortable beds, but I sleep better when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort than almost anywhere else!  Maybe Tinker Bell sprinkles some extra sleepy pixie dust on my eyes at night, or maybe I am just happy because I get to eat super scrumptious food, like the Mickey-shaped Beignets from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory!

Either way, I am so glad that you were able to wake up feeling fresh and pain-free so that you could soak up all of the magical adventures during the day!  I spoke to a Cast Member who was able to give me the names of the mattresses that are currently in the rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter!  She informed me that there are two mattresses that are used there, likely to accommodate Guests with specific allergies.  The two mattresses are the Sealy Posturepedic Encore Plus and the Sealy Posturepedic Monogram 600 Plus Euro Pillow Top!

To help you recreate your magical sleeps at home, make sure you check out some of the pixie-dusted bedding available online!  I know that bringing a little of the magic home with me always helps me to feel a little closer to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
