Hello! Recently snagged Storybook Dining at Artist Point w/ Snow White! Yay! Pretty sure I'm more excited than the kids:) Is there anything at Wilderness Lodge that's a must see before or after dinner? We are value resort folks so first time there.

    Hi Nicole!

Although all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have so much to see and do, Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of my absolute favorites!  When you walk into the main lobby you will be amazed at the truly magnificent detail that was put into the theming.

One of the best parts about the decor throughout Disney's Wilderness Lodge is that there are multiple "Hidden Mickeys" placed throughout the resort!  Stop by the Front Desk to pick up a guide so that you can go on a scavenger hunt to find them all!  This is a particularly fun activity for all ages that will help you explore the gorgeous resort!  You will also not want to miss the geyser that erupts every hour down by the Copper Creek Springs Pool!

Of course, there are other recreational activities like an arcade, Movies Under the Stars, and even campfires that you can enjoy!  If you like pin trading, check out one of my favorite pin trading locations, which happens to be in the back left corner of the main lobby, and if you have a later dinner reservation at Artist Point, make sure you stick around to watch the Electrical Water Pageant!  If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of some fireworks!  Just ask any Cast Member about the best place to watch!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
