I recently saw one of the moms tell someone who was asking a question that YES you can take in a backpack with wheels into the parks. I read where nothing with wheels is allowed in. Which is right? Can you take rolling backpacks into the park now?

    Peggy,

We don't have a perfect answer for you, unfortunately. Some of the moms have reported using a rolling backpack with no problem. Others have seen guests attempting to use them be asked to carry rather than use the wheels. Therefore, the usage of backpacks on wheels seems to depend a bit on whom you encounter.

Personally, I would not recommend them. In the parks, anything on wheels is rather inconvenient. People trip over you constantly, and they're hard to navigate in traffic. Also most anything you pull behind you is considered a no-no in the parks - wagons, coolers, etc. It seems backpacks would fall into that same category. While I cannot say for certain that you'd be told you can't use it, I would not feel confident at all telling you that you could. My own husband reports seeing a guest carrying a backpack on wheels after being told he couldn't pull it behind him. Since these bags are generally much heavier than their non-wheeled counterparts, I'd take the lighter bag from the start, just to be safe.

    Good luck!
