    “Hi, I recently renewed my Fl resident annual pass on Saturday, and I’m trying to figure out how to connect it with my existing PhotoPass, which I started using in April or May. Could you let me know the steps to link the two?”

    Hey there Genevieve, and welcome back to planDisney!

    As an Annual Passholder myself, having the Disney PhotoPass Add-on option has been incredibly convenient and handy for us as well as our linked friends and family members; however having encountered a similar situation when we renewed our Sorcerer Passes this year here are a few things to keep in mind:

    • Unfortunately however, when you purchase the Disney PhotoPass Benefit for Annual Passes, the Terms and Conditions state that this is only valid along with the Annual Pass that it was associated with until "5:59 a.m. Eastern Time on the earlier of the day after such Annual Pass expires or is cancelled." What this means is that for example, if you only added your unlimited Disney PhotoPass Downloads several months into the validity of your Annual Pass, you would have effectively missed out on those first few months as the Disney PhotoPass Benefit only able to be used until the pass itself expires and not a full year after it is purchased.
    • I reached out to V.I.PASSHOLDER Support who confirmed that once your previous Annual Pass has expired, so will any additional benefits that are associated with it such as Disney PhotoPass Downloads - and you'll be required to purchase it again to have it once again associated with your renewed Annual Pass. It's also important to be aware of the Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy so that you can make sure you've saved everything you want to keep!
