I recently read that Jiminy Cricket only appears in the Parks for Earth Day. Please tell me that is wrong! I would love to have a picture with such a distinguished fellow. Thanks so much.

I read that too and was very surprised. While it may have been true at one point that Jiminy Cricket was an infrequent visitor to the parks, this is certainly no longer the case. My daughters and I had a very nice meeting with Jiminy this past November, nowhere near Earth Day. We found him at the Conservation Station in the Animal Kingdom. There were very few guests there, even on Thanksgiving weekend, so we had lots of quality time with Jiminy.

You should bear in mind that the characters in the parks and their schedules do change frequently. The best way to find the information about Jiminy Cricket, or any other specific character, would be to go to the guest relations office at any of the theme parks. Ask them to call the "character hotline." They will be able to tell you if, where, and when any particular character will be appearing on WDW property.
