    Just recently read your book Doug (LOVED IT) but you commented re: lack of snacks in Canadian Pavilion(only popcorn)? Thought they might have something with maple syrup. Visiting Epcot in August- Can you suggest a snack from France for DD8&11?

    Jana,

    Thank you for the flattering praise of my book!

    In the wonderfully beautiful Canada pavilion there is both great entertainment (Off Kilter - the best band in all of Walt Disney World!), and a great themed decor with wonderful nooks and alcoves that offer some quieter escapes in the back of the pavilion area. But no, there is no real snack food offering that is uniquely Canadian.

    Now of course there is the Le Cellier Steakhouse here, perhaps the most popular table service restaurant in the entire park. But no stands with something from the Great White North. I think they had maple syrup in bottles for sale in the trinket store, but nothing else of note. Sad.

    As for a snack from France, there are two ways to go;

    a) stop off at the great crepes stand and get a sweet one, especially with nutella.
    b) grab a chocolate mousse, eclair, or chocolate croissant from the Boulangerie Patisserie in the back of the France pavilion.

    I hope that this helps? Please send along more questions, especially the food ones!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
