Ashley from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I recently moved to California a few months ago and I’m still using my out of state I.D , I moved in with family and I’m renting a room so I can’t show proof that I’m paying rent. How can I still go in the park? I’m technically a resident.

    Heigh-Ho Ashley,

Welcome to planDisney, we are excited Disneyland has opened its gates again welcoming Guests back to The Happiest Place on Earth and we are thrilled to help Guests with their curiouser and curiouser inquiries. As Disneyland moves forward in monitoring and maintaining regulations, in ordinance with the CDC and State of California guidelines, I highly recommend all Guests wishing to visit Disneyland read the Returning to a Land of Magic information and stay up to date by following the Disney Parks Blog.

As you are aware, currently, only California residents are able to visit Disneyland. Guests will need to bring proof of residency. Those who do not have a California driver’s license or rental or mortgage statement to show will need to provide a recent utility bill, pay stub, bank statement, automobile registration, etc. showing your full name and California address. If you can not provide any of these then I hope you understand Disneyland is operating within strict guidelines and until further notice you may need to delay your arrival if you do not have any form of proof of residency.

I will Wish Upon a Star that your Happily Ever After happens and you will be able to enjoy the Magic of Disneyland. Thank you for visit planDisney and if we can be of any further assistance feel free to ask.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
