I have recently had to move to a low fat and low sodium diet. While I have looked at many menus online, I was wondering if there are suggestions for restaurants in all four parks that have multiple options for those diet restrictions. Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for stopping by planDisney today with your question.

One of the many things I love about Walt Disney World Resort is that they do their best to go "to infinity and beyond" and ensure all guests are taken care of. Walt Disney World has done so with their dining options, for both quick service and table service meals alike. Most restaurants can accommodate guests with most special dietary requests on-site, however, if you want to add it to your reservation and let the restaurants you choose know about your requests ahead of time, you can email the Special Diets Team Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and request a special dietary form to fill out.

Now, let's talk about some dining options. For quick service options, you will be able to find restaurants and food kiosks throughout the theme parks that sell fruits, veggies, and healthier snack options, as well as the food courts of all the Disney Resorts. For table service meals, I suggest taking a look at restaurants that serve buffet-style meals, where you can fill up on salads and proteins that are lower in fat. Some of my family's favorites for quick service and table service meals include:

Elizabeth, I hope all of this information (and dining choices!) helps you with planning your visit to Walt Disney World. Please send me any other questions you may have before you visit. You've got a friend in me!

    Happy Planning!
