Hi, I was recently listening to one of the DisneyWorld podcasts and the hosts mentioned issues with the 'paper-card' annual passes de-magnetizing. Concerned since we are getting annual passes this year. Can we request annual passes on hard-cards instead?

    Hi Paula!

No worries! We've been annual passholders a few different times, and only had trouble with demagnetizing on one occasion. On that trip, my ticket would be demagnetized every single time I went to enter a park. We were stumped. After a few day, we realized that I was storing the tickets right next to a magnetic closure on my purse! Each night, I would tuck away the tickets in that purse and the next morning they'd be invalid! Once we figured that out, it never happened again!

And, since that one trip, it hasn't occurred ever again!

I really didn't have any problems with replacing my unreadable ticket. When my ticket was demagnetized, all I needed to do was to visit a Guest Services window. They quickly replaced it, and I could enter the park in just a few minutes.

So, my best advice is not to store them directly UNDER a magnetic enclosure. Other than that, there isn't too much to worry about!

Have a great trip and enjoy being a Passholder!
