I have recently heard that you can now trade your quick service dessert for a snack credit to use at a later time, is that true? If so how does it work? Thanks so much!

    Hi, Jackelyn!

Walt Disney World Resort has recently allowed Guests to exchange Disney Dining Plan credits, which could be very handy for Guests that find themselves with remaining credits on their day of check-out. The way this works is that a Guest can exchange one Quick-Service dining credit for up to three snack credits in one single transaction. Leslie, one of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists, recently put this new option to test at Downtown Disney with great success. Just remember that you will need to complete the exchange of a credit all at once at one location. For example, I am planning to exchange some of our Quick-Service Dining credits at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this fall. While visiting the Global Marketplaces, I should be able to pick up any three food or drink items that carry the Disney Dining Plan logo at any single marketplace. However, I will not be allowed to complete the exchange by choosing a drink selection at one marketplace and two food selections from another marketplace.

I hope this information helps you plan your dining credits during your stay. Please let me know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip.
