Hi Kristen!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Let’s talk about that magical world you’ve heard of!
Early Entry into the theme parks is currently only for Disney World resort and select good neighbor hotel guests.
This perk allows those guests to enjoy some attractions in the parks before the park officially opens for the day, which is HUGE!
Now, for the magic! While guests staying off property can’t enter Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom until the listed park opening time,
Magic Kingdom is a little different.
In my experience, all guests (whether they’re staying at a Disney resort or not) are able to enter Magic Kingdom about 30 minutes prior to the listed Early Entry time. This allows you to take in all the great vibes on Main Street,
snag some photos in front of Cinderella Castle with fewer crowds,
grab a coffee, and maybe even
take a ride on the Main Street Vehicles.
When Early Entry begins, those eligible will be able to scan into the area of the park where Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are located while everyone else will get to relax on Main Street and in the hub area by the castle until official park open.
A few minutes before official park open, Mickey and his friends will kick off the day with a
short show on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle. Then all areas of the park will open up for everyone to enjoy.
I’m so glad I somehow become a morning person when I’m at Disney because those early morning hours at Magic Kingdom are just the best! I hope you have a great time!
