I have recently been diagnosed with heart failure&cardiomyopathy and on lowsodium/fat diet. Is it possible to get meals prepared to suit this diet at wdw? we are wanting to book dining experiences not sure which ones yet but needed to see if possible.

    Hi Stephanie!

You'll be relieved (and happy!) to know that Disney restaurants are among the most accommodating dining establishments that I've EVER had the opportunity to visit! As a vegetarian, I'm often ordering "off-menu", and have never had a problem at Walt Disney World.

For your table service meals, I recommend that you ask the reservationist to create a note on your advance dining reservation, with your dietary restrictions noted. Be sure to remind either the hostess or waitress upon your arrival at the restaurant. Often times, the chef will visit your table to discuss any questions and to see what they can do for you.

I hope this helps! Hope you have a great worry-free vacation!
