Hi Brenda,
Welcome aboard planDisney!
It sounds like you are in the final countdown before your
Disney Cruise Line vacation begins and are checking all of the boxes for
pre-cruise preparation. How exciting!
When you booked your
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, you should have provided your Orlando International Airport arrival information. Your pick-up and departure time from the airport is based on that information and, likewise, your Port Arrival Time. So, there is no need to schedule a time slot as it is automatically assigned for you.
If your Port Arrival Time is 10:45 am, you are probably among the earliest arrival times, so hooray! Once you arrive at the port, your luggage will be handled by the porters and it will magically appear at your stateroom later in the day. You will enter the terminal building and begin in-person check-in and then will receive a Boarding Group number. Once your group is called, your vacation is officially underway!
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you have your cruise plans right at your fingertips. I love to peruse the entertainment and activity offerings as soon as I board the ship. When I find one I don't want to miss, I select the heart icon next to it so the app will send a reminder about 15 minutes before the event begins. Make sure to have your notifications turned on to use this great feature.
I hope this information helps you set off on a relaxing vacation, Brenda. We are here if you have other questions, so write back any time.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
