Hi, I have recently have had to cancel my trip to Disney due to personal issues. I paid my trip off with a gift card and that's where my refund went to. Is there any way to convert to my bank?

    Dear Betty,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I'm so sorry that you have had to cancel your trip to Walt Disney World Resort due to personal issues, and I hope that you will be able to visit us again soon. Unfortunately, your refund will come in the form with which your originally paid. I am not sure if you originally purchased your Disney gift cards through the website, or through another company such as a retail store, but you could inquire with them to see if they can issue a refund. Mostly, gift cards are non-refundable though. Another idea is to attempt to re-sell them through an online gift card reseller, or to a local friend.

Hope that helps with your magical planning and we hope to see you back at Walt Disney World Resort soon!
