I recently bought a BB unit droid from droid depot and the body of the droid will not slide off. How can I fix this?

Bright Suns, Connor! I'm so glad you received my transmission and followed it back here to planDisney. Thank the maker!

It sounds like you recently traveled to a galaxy far, far away and landed on planet Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Out of all the planets I've visited during my galactic travels, Batuu is definitely in my top two. And Connor! You must be part of the Resistance! Droid Depot has been kept hidden from the prying eyes of the First Order and I'm so glad to hear that you're helping to defend the light side of the Force. But oh, no. I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't able to fully access the BB astromech unit you built. We'll make sure your droid is in working order and ready to navigate once more!

If you're looking to open the body of your droid in order to change its personality chip, that can easily be done by popping open the back panel on your unit. Personality chips are a fun way to customize your very own robot sidekick! You can also head to the Droid Depot informational page and scroll down to access the BB-Series Unit Instruction Manual to troubleshoot your droid, Babu-Frik-style! If there is another reason why you're looking to open your droid, or if this back panel is not opening correctly for you, I'd recommend reaching out to Merchandise Guest Services either by calling (877) 560-6477 or emailing merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com (don't worry, they're all Jedi!). They'll be happy to assist you with any next steps you may need.

Connor, did you also know that there's tons of fun to be had with your BB-Series Unit you built? You can download the Droid Depot app on your phone to interact with your astromech unit in brand new ways! You'll be able to even listen to some galactic tunes by none other than DJ R3X (the same droid at Oga's Cantina!) and teach your droid how to dance around your living room! Now, all you need is a gold glass of blue milk to live your best Star Wars life.

I hope I was able to help you today, Connor! If you have any other questions, be sure to fly your starship our way again. And may the Force be with you!

    'Til the Spires!
