I recently booked a vacation with a Authorized Disney Travel Agent, but I'm not seeing the reservation attached to my account. I want to make sure it's booked with Disney before cancelling my old reservation.

    Eric,

Thanks for your question to planDisney!

I would not rush to cancel anything right away. What you will want to do is this

    • Contact your Disney Authorized Vacation Planner: Ask them for your confirmation number. It is likely it just needs to be added to your My Disney Experience account to get everything squared away.
    • On your desktop computer: Starting at the Walt Disney World website, go to "My Disney Experience" from the top menu, at the far right. In that drop down menu, select "My Plans". You should see a series of circles lined up horizontally, one each for different kinds of reservations. There is one for resort hotel reservations, park tickets, park reservations, and dining. Pick the one that corresponds to the confirmation number provided by your Vacation Planner, and when you hover over that circle you should then click on the "Link" button that pops up. Enter your confirmation number and it will add it to your plans.
    • On a smartphone: If you are doing this on the My Disney Experience App on a smartphone, click on the three vertical bar menu button on the lower right corner of the app. From there you should see buttons for those same options. Just click through and hit the "Link" option, add your confirmation number, and you should be ready to go.

You likely only have 1 confirmation number to enter, though depending on the plans you made it may be more. Assuming you are dealing with just one, and you included a Disney Resort Hotel stay as part of that package, then just follow the steps for the Resort Hotel linking.

    BONUS TIP
Now is the time for you to book your Theme Park Reservations. Select that park that will be your park for the day so you can start planning what to ride, where to eat, and all the other magical stops along your way. Need some help figuring those out? Just write us back at planDisney and we can help you out!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
