Hi Megan,
How fun that you're planning
another visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" already! That's the very BEST way to keep the magic and memories alive!
While MagicBands are
reusable, they are not
transferable, so you won't be able to use your husband's MagicBand on your next visit. Since no data is stored on the MagicBands themselves, and they simply function as a tool to access all of the information stored within your My Disney Experience account, you'll want to go ahead and
link the new ticket to your account. You'll then be able to use any
MagicBand or card that is marked as "Active" within your account to access that ticket. If you don't have any other MagicBands or cards to access your new ticket, you may feel free to purchase your own MagicBand
online or at a retail location once you've arrived. You may also stop by any theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location, and they'll be happy to help you set up a card.
Did you know that since you've lost the MagicBand from your last trip, you can click
"Report Lost" under that particular MagicBand online? Now, without your fingerprint or PIN number, no one else should be able to use anything on your account anyway, but I'd still recommend marking it as lost just to be safe.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan, and please come see us anytime you have a question about planning a Disney adventure! I hope that you have a truly magical vacation with your friends!
Missy
