Our recent cruise on the Dream-hardly saw grandsons (at Oceaneer) We had stingray booked-but for future-how do you know/sign up/meet etc for on shore Oceaneers club? Any locations to meet characters? we only saw one upon boarding!

Welcome back Denise! One thing about sailing with Disney Cruise Line is that there truly is something for everyone onboard. From kids fun in the Youth Clubs to adult activities and adult exclusive dining to lots of events for the whole family together, Disney offers it all! It sounds like your grandsons found the kids activities, but next time, be sure to scour that Personal Navigator to check out all of the family activities so you can enjoy them together as a family!

Your Personal Navigator is the best way to discover when and where the Disney characters will be meeting with guests as well. I'm sorry you missed out on the many opportunities that are available. I counted up the number of character greeting opportunities on a recent three-night Dream sailing and found that there were over 45 set times for character meet ups listed in the Personal Navigator, not even including the special events like the Princess Gathering or the See Ya' Real Soon celebration that last night in the atrium. That's just for the three-night sailing, so on longer sailings, there are even more character meet and greets! My family likes to bring a different colored highlighter for each family member so we can mark up our Personal Navigators each day with our favorites and must-do's! This way, we don't miss out on any of the fun! The Personal Navigator will also list the hours and activities in the Youth Clubs, both onboard for Oceaneer Club and Lab and on Castaway Cay for Scuttle's Cove youth club.

As far as Port Adventure meet up times, those will be listed when you first book your adventure during online check-in. Then, again, guests receive a ticket in their staterooms on the first day for each adventure they've booked. These tickets show the meeting times and locations (usually onboard) for each Port Adventure.

I hope those details help as you keep them in mind when planning your next sailing with Disney Cruise Line, Denise!
