Hi Ian!
My Disney Experience is an amazing tool that allows you to manage all of your vacation plans in one easy to access place! Long gone are the days when I used to create my nerdy spreadsheet for the week with all our plans. My Disney Experience makes it so much easier!
Let me see if I have some suggestions that might help. First, I think it is always best if each adult has their own My Disney Experience Account, and exists only in their own account. Once you each have your own accounts, you can then link to one another via the Family & Friends option.
If you have created one Ian on your own account and your sister has created a separate Ian on her account, that can cause problems. If she has you as a separate Ian, and she has already linked your ticket on her account, that would explain why you can’t see it on yours. The app thinks there are two different Guests named Ian. You’ll need to call for technical support if this has occurred.
To link your personal tickets on your own account from the app, start by tapping the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen. This will open a menu that includes “Tickets and Passes.” Choose this option to view tickets assigned to your party and to your linked Family & Friends. If you need to add a new ticket, tap the small plus sign in the upper right corner of the page, and choose “Link Tickets & Passes.”
Alternately, some Guests find it easier to link tickets on the desktop version of
My Disney Experience. Anything linked to your account via desktop will also show up when you are signed in to the App version.
If you are continuing to have difficulties, I recommend getting some expert technical help by calling for support. You can find numbers for Website Support and My Disney Experience Support in this
Disney Phone Directory. Sometimes that rascal alien Stitch causes a glitch and a phone call can save a lot of frustration.
I hope this helps, Ian. Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
