Welcome to planDisney, Laura! I’m so happy to help a fellow Texan with their magical vacation!
Laura, what a thoughtful gift to be given for such a momentous occasion! I want to first start off by saying congratulations on your nuptials! Receiving passes to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is so special because you will be making enchanting memories that will last you a lifetime!
This is a great question, and you’re on the right track with having the tickets under your names. Another important thing you would need to know is if the passes are listed as a gift purchase, otherwise, the person who is listed as the purchaser and their form of payment is required to get the
Theme Park tickets. I would advise you to
contact a Cast Member at either Existing Tickets or Disney Resort Hotel Reservations if it is a package because they will need to look at the reservation to be sure.
Once you have that sorted out, Laura, I suggest you plan a romantic dinner reservation for the two of you! Perhaps you can spend your day exploring Magic Kingdom Park and stroll over to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort for dinner at
California Grill. This restaurant is located on the 15th floor of the Resort hotel and has stunning panoramic views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t love there; it’s no wonder this award-winning restaurant is so popular. If you’re thinking about dining there, I would definitely encourage you to make your dining reservations.
Laura, here’s to celebrating your happily ever after!
Aena
