Ahoy, Zyra!
Thank you for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I know I don't like any surprises on travel days especially when flying so I'm glad you reached out. If your sailing departs out of
Port Canaveral, an 11:45 a.m. flight will still work! Disney Cruise Line recommends any flights out of the Orlando Airport be scheduled after 11:30 a.m. to allow time for disembarkation and travel to the airport. If you are taking Disney Cruise Line transportation, the motor coach buses run continuously to the airport throughout the morning hours. You'll receive important debark information in your stateroom the day prior to departure, so be sure to read it over for a smooth sea to land transition. To give you a good idea, it typically takes about 30-45 minutes to disembark the ship and board the motor coach, and the ride over to the Orlando Airport is about 50 minutes to one hour.
If your cruise is out of another
departure port, most ports do recommend flights be scheduled between 11:30 a.m. and noon. The
Air and Ground Transportation Information on the Disney Cruise Line website is a very helpful resource for you to look over prior to your departure.
Zyra, I hope you have the most magical time on your voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
Nancy
