    Received a free 2 night stay for a mod resort and ! day hopper passes due to problems last visit. Letter states no DP or upgrade tickets. WeDP and WP& more during our stay, and would like to have. What is best way to book this stay?

    What I would recommend is that you call Disney directly to book both the free stay (lucky!), and whatever added stay you want to combine with that. That way the cast member can look up the information related to your offer and find the best match for you. 

    My guess is that you will have a vacation with two different reservations. One will be for the free stay you mention here, and the other will be for the added time you want to enjoy (and that you pay for). That second part will be the one for which you can get the Disney Dining Plan and the Water Park Fun and More option to tickets. 

    An important thing to remember is that with that part of your stay that has the Dining Plan attached to it, you have to use the dining plan credits during that part of your stay. For example;

    Night 1: New booking with Dining Plan
    Night 2: New booking with Dining Plan
    Night 3: Free Booking
    Night 4: Free Booking 

    If you were to work your vacation out this way, you would have to use all your dining credits by the end of Day 3. But it is better to organize it this way, because you would be able to use your Water Park Fun 'credits" throughout the stay. If you reversed the order, your dining would just have to be done STARTING on the 3rd day, but you would not have as much time to redeem the Water Park opportunities.

    Make sense? It is a bit complex, but it can work out in the end. Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!
