    When will I receive our Disney MagicBands? I’m hoping they come in time for Christmas!

    Hi Amanda!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a question about the must have accessory on a Disney vacation,  the MagicBand.   I am happy to help answer your question today.

    If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel you will be able to log into your My Disney Experience account and customize your MagicBands with a name and you will also get to choose a color for each Guest.  I always love to put silly names on my kids MagicBands and they always laugh when they open the box.    MagicBands usually ship about 30 days before your trip is scheduled to begin.   If you are wanting MagicBands to open up on Christmas you can purchase some on the Shop Disney website.  You can find fun colors and special MagicBands that are adorned with your favorite characters.   The best thing is that any MagicBand you have listed as active in your My Disney Experience account will work.   For example I have a MagicBand in each color active and a few speciality MagicBands and I pick which one to use depending on what I am wearing for the day.   Isn't that neat?
